Delete your MakerSpark account

If you can sign in, open your Profile in the MakerSpark app or at app.makerspark.io/profile and choose Delete account. You confirm by typing your email address.

If you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the email address on the account. We verify that a request comes from the account holder before acting on it.

It cannot be undone. Your account, your progress and your content cannot be restored afterwards, by you or by us.

If you have no active subscription, the account is deleted the moment you confirm. If a subscription is running, we cancel it first and then delete the account, within 30 days of your request. You are not charged again after we receive it.

• Your name, email address, phone number and profile details
• Your avatar and bio
• Your course progress, completed lessons, certificates and badges
• Your community posts, comments and reactions, and the images you uploaded with them
• Your direct messages
• Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be used
• Your push notification tokens and device identifiers

We keep records of your purchases, meaning invoices, payments and refunds, including the name and email on them, because tax and accounting law requires those records to stay intact. We keep them only for as long as the law requires, we restrict them to that purpose, and we never use them to contact you again. The same applies to the record of your deletion request itself, so that we can show we acted on it.

Deleting your MakerSpark account removes your data from MakerSpark and from the services we use to run it, including our sign-in provider and our customer database. Our payment providers keep their own record of your purchases, which we cannot delete and which the law requires them to retain.
